Points to visit in Matheran

  Om Sairam In My previous blog, I tried to give detailed information about India's smallest Hill Station, Matheran. Matheran is a hill station, near Mumbai, in the west Indian state of Maharashtra. It’s known for its mild climate and well-preserved colonial architecture. Motor vehicles are banned and many visitors arrive by narrow-gauge railway on the 1907 Neral–Matheran Toy Train.  Matheran is Asia's only automobile free hill station. There are  around 38 designated look-out "points " (viewpoints) in Matheran, including the Panorama Point that provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding area and also the Neral town.
