Today I am gonna share few more must include places for sightseeing when you are in Ooty.

Ooty (short for Udhagamandalam) is a resort town in the Western Ghats mountains, in southern India's Tamil Nadu state.

6th Place - Shooting Medu Ooty (Filmy Chakkar)

A popular location for Bollywood films, this vast parkland has horse-riding trails & hillside views. It's Onway tp Paykara Boating point & Paykara Waterfalls.















7th Place - Paykara Lake Boating












Beautiful Place near Ooty - Must Experience. Lake is receiving water from the waterfall - Paykara Waterfall. 

Timing for Boating: 10 AM to 5 PM

Charges: 20-min motorboat ride are INR 770+tax for an 8-seater motorboat, INR 890+tax for a 10-seater motorboat, and INR 1240+tax for a 15-seater motor boat. A 10-min ride on a speedboat is charged at ₹800 (plus tax) for two people.







8th Place - Paykara Waterfalls ( Most fascinating sight as per me)

The waterfall was in full swing in the summer Month of India - May End. 1st have a look at the waterfall then read the details.



Pykara falls is around 15 km from Ooty city center and on Gudalur road. This is the most visited place in Ooty. 

Timing: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM ( All Day)
Charges: 5 Rs / Person.

Worth Visiting waterfall - Majestic Waterfall.

You can walk down from the parking area to the waterfall otherwise there is a battery car offering a ride for Rs.5 one way from the parking area to the waterfalls. The distance is a little less than a km. We preferred to walk.

We visited on our way back to Ooty. Nice place.
